Electronic transcript exchange: connecting to TranscriptsBC – Banner SIS Institutions [Webinar]

This webinar is for B.C. public post-secondary institutions who aren’t currently partnered with TranscriptsBC. The session focuses on the technical requirements for connecting to TranscriptsBC, enabling the electronic exchange of transcripts. Hosted by the BCcampus Student Data Services team, each of the three webinars are aimed at the specific student information systems used by B.C. post-secondary institutions. These webinars are designed for B.C. public post-secondary institutions that are not currently members of TranscriptsBC. Our current partnering institutions are Douglas College, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Langara College, Simon Fraser University, University of British Columbia, and the University of the Fraser Valley.

This webinar will provide information on:

  • Connecting to TranscriptsBC via RESTful Web Services
  • Using PESC XML transcript standards
  • Preparing your SIS for PESC XML transcript exchange

Who should attend?

Technical staff involved in institutional network infrastructure and student information system (SIS) application management of public post-secondary institutions, currently not partnered with TranscriptsBC. Participants interested in attending should select the session that has the student information system their institution is using.
