The BC Open Textbook Project was a regional finalist for a British Columbia Premier’s Award for Public Service Excellence.  The award recognizes achievements in the public service that significantly benefit the people of British Columbia. On September 11, 2014, the regional awards were presented during a video telecast. And even though the BC Open Textbook Project didn’t win, we are truly honored to have been recognized along with our colleagues at the BC Ministry of Advanced Education,  and to have been made a finalist in our region out of the hundreds of worthwhile public service projects this year.
