Intercultural communication is a growing field. As more intercultural interactions happen naturally and in prescribed situations like higher education, opportunities to develop supportive attitudes, skills, and knowledge abound.

In this free, one-week microcourse, we will explore one intercultural communication concept through one reading, one assignment, and a variety of experiential learning activities. While cultural expression is dynamic and varies across contexts, focused exploration can build a strong foundation for insight into a variety of communication patterns.

Join facilitators Emma Bourassa and Donna DesBiens as you learn and share about preferred cultural communication and consider how patterns may influence intercultural interactions in various learning contexts. Participants could expect to spend at least 5 hours on course activities during the week.
