Problem Solving the Pivot to Online Learning

BCcampus is partnering with our friends at Campus Manitoba for a session about teaching in the age of COVID-19 and making the transition to online learning. Join librarian Brianne Selman and instructor Arley Cruthers as they talk about how they are preparing for upcoming courses and some of the problems they have solved in the pivot to online. Brianne Selman Brianne Selman is the Scholarly Communications and Copyright Librarian at the University of Winnipeg, where she works on issues such as Author’s Rights, Open Access, and all the ins and outs of making scholarship findable and accessible.

Arley Cruthers – Arley Cruthers teaches Applied Communications at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She is also KPU’s Open Education Teaching Fellow and the creator of the OER textbook Business Writing for Everyone: An Inclusive Guide to Writing in the Workplace.
