Adapting to COVID-19: Mindful Monday Drop-In

Audience: Students, Faculty and Staff
Session Description: Join us for our regular drop-in session of Mindful/Meditation Mondays. These sessions are facilitated by guest counsellors from across the BC post-secondary system. Liisa will guide us through an activity and assist us in continuing to learn new skills in becoming more mindful in our daily lives. We hope you make these sessions a regular part of your weekly schedule.
Bio:
Liisa Robinson (she/her)  is a counsellor and Chair of Counselling Services at Camosun College which is located on the traditional territories of the Lkwungen and Wsanec peoples. Liisa’s path into student affairs began in Residence Life at the University of Victoria and moved into Counselling after completing her M.Ed in counselling psychology (2004). Liisa believes that humans are highly connected beings, both internally (our physical and mental health are intertwined) and externally (culture, power structures, and life experience all impact us). Liisa’s been a yoga teacher since 2008 and was licensed by the Indian Government as a meditation teacher in 2018. Liisa is a big fan of being in nature, running, hiking, reading, and wickedly strong coffee.
