BCcampus is involved with the co-ordination and support of 2 great events coming up in October for International Open Access Week 2015.
We are offering a “Designing Accessible Open Educational Resources: A Hands-on Workshop” on Monday Oct.19th. Read more about it here. There are a few spots let if you wish to attend this free workshop!

As well, on Oct. 22nd there is an evening event featuring a panel discussion,”Open for Collaboration: Is it Time for Canada to Implement A Unified Open Strategy for Higher Education?”at SFU Harbour Centre. The event is open to all and free, but registration is required.  This event is organized and sponsored by BCcampus, UBC Library, SFU Library, the Public Knowledge Project, and the BC Research Libraries Group (BCRLG).
