Announcing the first gathering of the Vancouver Liberating Structures User Group

Are you battling any of those “monsters” (skepticism from colleagues, fear of the unknown, loss of control and failure) which  keep us from using Liberating Structures (LS) in our work? Are you looking to connect with others to share ideas for using Liberating Structures and to play with and practice them?

Join us for the first meeting of the Vancouver Liberating Structures user group! We will follow a similar startup as described by the Seattle User group: http://www.liberatingstructures.com/user-group/ The intent is that participants will lead in the shaping of this group, so what will follow will depend on who shows up!

The meetings are free and open to all. Newcomers to the practice of Liberating Structures are welcome and encouraged to attend. [For those completely new to the fascinating realm of Liberating Structures, here is a quick definition: Liberating Structures are easy-to-learn microstructures that enhance relational coordination and trust. They quickly foster lively participation in groups of any size, making it possible to truly include and unleash everyone. Check out more at the website, www.liberatingstructures.com.]

Space for our meetings is generously sponsored by BCIT. Our first meeting will be held on Monday April 24th 6 pm – 8 pm, BCIT DTN, Room 820.
