On behalf of BCcampus, the Digital Learning Strategy Forum Program Committee invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the Digital Learning Strategy Forum on November 13-14, 2024, at Simon Fraser University Harbour Centre in Vancouver, B.C.

The Forum provides an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across B.C. and discuss key topics related to digital learning. Your participation will help support the development of related provincial initiatives.

We invite session proposals focusing on key topics related to the B.C. Post-Secondary Digital Learning Strategy. Special consideration will be given to proposals addressing the following topics. Please select the one best aligned with your session.

  • Creating meaningful reconciliation through technology-enhanced teaching and learning
  • Sustainability of digital education: Innovations in making digital post-secondary education accessible, affordable, and sustainable
  • Human-centred design in digital learning environments
  • Collaboration across the system
  • Safety in digital spaces
  • Pedagogical strategies for technology-enhanced learning

See the Guidelines for Technology-Enhanced Learning for descriptions on each topic.

Session Types:

  • Lightning Talk: Lightning talks are short 10-minute presentations offering a quick take on a story, case study, idea, or technique.

These sessions should involve exercises designed to encourage collaboration and exploration. Examples include discussions, seminars, panels, or workshops. Proposals should address the planned interactive tools or techniques.
