Evaluators will review content covering the eight areas of digital literacy thematic competencies. Content that helps individuals:
- Ethical and legal considerations: Understand and abide by principles of privacy protection, inclusion, and accessibility in digital spaces.
- Technology supports: Explore new technologies, and select appropriate tools for different tasks.
- Information literacy: Understand how online information is produced, prioritized, and presented.
- Digital scholarship: Use digital technologies for learning, research, and decision-making.
- Communication and collaboration: Use online tools to make valuable contributions in digital spaces.
- Creation and curation: Create multimedia products that reach different audiences and share stories.
- Digital well-being: Create healthy boundaries with technology, and use digital tools to maintain well-being.
- Community-based learning: Communicate and collaborate meaningfully with digital communities.
