Fostering change: BCcampus expands its leadership team

Undergoing significant leadership changes within the past year, BCcampus continues to develop. We are adjusting our organizational model to better align with our strategic goals all the while continuing to excel in the areas of teaching, learning, and educational technology services in support of B.C.’s post-secondary institutions.

“I’m so pleased that we can enable growth of the individuals within our team while we respond to the needs of our system partners. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with people who want to continue to learn and explore new ways of working and achieving our goals.” ~ Mary Burgess, Executive Director

Denise Goudy, Director, Education Projects

Denise Goudy has accepted the position of Director, Education Projects. Denise’s broad experience with both institutions and government will bring a very complimentary skill set to the leadership team at BCcampus.

Lawrence Parisotto, Director, Education Projects on Secondment to BCIT

While on Secondment at BCIT, Lawrence Parisotto will be leading a project called Facilitating Access to Skilled Trades. This is a very good fit for his skill set and while it’s a loss for us, it’s a great opportunity for Lawrence to have a big impact and we wish him all the best. We’ll be reporting on the project Lawrence is leading in the coming months.

Clint Lalonde, Manager, Educational Technologies

We are also happy to announce that Clint Lalonde has been appointed the position of Manager, Educational Technologies. Clint is thrilled to get back to his educational technology roots and help us with Ed Tech evaluations, pilots, research, and implementation.

Amanda Coolidge, Senior Manager, Open Education

Amanda Coolidge has been appointed to the position of Senior Manager, Open Education. Amanda will continue to provide leadership and support for open education, and more specifically, open education resources in BC through the Open Textbook Project here at BCcampus.
