Nominations are in for Open Textbooks subcommittee

We were delighted to receive 41 nominations for the Open Textbook Project Sub-Committee from across the B.C. post-secondary sector.
Many sectors of the system were represented in those nominations, now the hard part will be choosing the members. We also want to find useful ways for those not chosen for this committee to participate, perhaps in the evaluation committees, perhaps in other ways. We are open to suggestions.
BCcampus and Ministry of Advanced Education, Innovation and Technology staff will be reviewing, sorting and documenting the list of nominees this week in preparation for sending the slate of nominees to the BCcampus Strategic Council for review and selection.
We are aiming for an early February meeting of the sub-committee, so we’ll be announcing the members as soon as possible after they’re selected.
