The Facilitating Learning Online (FLO) workshop has been offered 6 times through BCcampus since fall, 2013. We now have over 60 grads, and 13 have gone on to complete the Facilitator Development Online (FDO) workshop. The idea is that FDO participants will now practice their skills by either helping to facilitate future offerings of FLO through BCcampus, or implement their own version of the workshop at their home institutions. It’s an idea that is working out well!
If you are interested in becoming part of this cycle of developing your facilitating skills, and in turn helping others do the same, consider registering for the FLO – FDO series. The workshops are online, have small group sizes, and are currently free.
