BCcampus was involved with the coordination and support of two great events in October for International Open Access Week 2015.
We offered a “Designing Accessible Open Educational Resources: A Hands-on Workshop” on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015. Read more about it here. The workshop filled up quickly and we collected names for indications of interest for future workshops.
As well, on Oct. 22, 2015, there was an evening event which featured a panel discussion,”Open for Collaboration: Is it Time for Canada to Implement A Unified Open Strategy for Higher Education?” at the SFU Harbour Centre.
Both of these events were organized and sponsored by BCcampus, UBC Library, SFU Library, the Public Knowledge Project, and the BC Research Libraries Group (BCRLG).
