WeBWorK is an open-source homework system designed to support the development and delivery of complex math and statistics practice questions. The intent of this grant is to provide financial support to institutions who wish to install and deploy WebWorK.

This call for proposals is for post-secondary instructors and faculty in B.C. to develop sets of openly licensed questions for STEM-based subject areas that align with an existing STEM-based open textbooks, either in the BCcampus Open Textbook Collection or elsewhere.

A key component of the next phase of open education work for BCcampus is the enhancement of the existing open textbook collection through the development of complementary open homework systems and accompanying formative assessment questions that reinforce new knowledge and provide students the opportunity to practice using it.

For this call, only projects with Indigenous lead researchers and/or projects that are equitably and reciprocally partnered with Indigenous peoples and communities will be considered.

This call for proposals is to identify qualified institutions, departments, or individual educators to work with BCcampus on the identification, evaluation, and development of open online courses.
