For many years, BCcampus has provided valuable online student services – admissions applications, course directory, course record and transferability guide, transcript exchange, virtual library – using a secure connector system that accesses real-time student data. This data exchange system also allows institutions to generate up-to-date reports regarding recruitment, applications, learning resources and more. Because database duplication is eliminated, both cost and time are saved. Our staff continues to work on these services, now in collaboration with the BC Council on Admissions and Transfer who have taken responsibility for transitioning the former ApplyBC and the Transcript Exchange to the new centralized online planning and application service, EducationPlannerBC, on behalf of the Ministry of Advanced Education. For more information about this partnership and the transition, visit BC Council on Admissions and Transfer.

EducationPlannerBC is a free, centralized tool that lets students plan, search and apply to any of British Columbia’s public universities, colleges and institutes through a single portal. Use EducationPlannerBC to find out more about where you want to study, what information you will need to pursue post-secondary studies in BC and then apply directly to your institutions of choice, all on one site! [EducationPlannerBC]

EducationPlannerBC Transcript Services

EducationPlannerBC Transcript Services is a service that replaces paper transcripts with electronic versions when official student transcripts are exchanged between participating institutions. BCcampus is a member of the P20W Education Standards Council (PESC) and uses PESC standards for e-transcript exchange, currently in production for Douglas College, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Langara College, Simon Fraser University, University of the Fraser Valley, and University of British Columbia. Work is underway to extend the implementation to other B.C. public post-secondary institutions using the PESC standard e-transcripts and secure PDF e-transcripts.
