Session Description:
Join us for this one-hour drop-in session which will build on the information provided in the webinar on Building Community and Enacting Care in online environments.
If you have questions about using technology to build community in an online learning environment, this session will give you an opportunity to discuss, share, and learn with a faculty expert.
There will be a breakout room for Educational Technologists or IT Staff who want to learn from experts how they implemented open source technology like Mattermost, H5P, and WordPress at their institutions.
Facilitator:
Ian Linkletter (MLIS, University of Western Ontario) is a Learning Technology Specialist in the Faculty of Education at UBC. He specializes in online learning, working with faculty to help them integrate technology with their teaching in effective, evidence-based, and innovative ways.
