In this webinar, Fred Cutler from UBC and WeVu.video will present and demo the WeVu web application.
WeVu is a web video platform for a new kind of video-enabled learning and training. WeVu turns ‘educational video’ upside down. Instead of many students watching one instructor- or content-driven video, in WeVu one instructor watches recordings of all their learners doing the skills they are learning. It’s a flexible platform for students to share recordings of their own skills practice with their teachers and get precise feedback. Feedback is placed precisely at the moment it is needed.
WeVu is built on a pedagogy of active learning: we want students to get more and better practice and more and better feedback. With WeVu, programs can break the barriers of time and space for the coaching of hands-on and interpersonal skills. WeVu is nursing procedures, business and legal presentations, music, performance, and more.
