The BCcampus Research Fellows program provides support for B.C. post-secondary educators to conduct research on improving student learning and to share their results and experiences with peers in B.C. and beyond.
We are pleased to announce our next group of Fellows, who will start fellowships in April. Over the next 18 months, they will focus on research grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing and learning.
The 2021–2022 BCcampus Research Fellows are:

  • Heather Simpson, Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC): Forming Strong Cultural Identities in an Intersecting Space of Indigeneity and Autism
  • Heather Burke, Vancouver Island University (VIU): Teaching and Learning Co-Creation with Good Relations
  • Carol Burbee, Northern Lights College (NLC): Unsettling Curriculum: A New Course in FNST 100
  • Carmen Rodriguez de France, University of Victoria: Learning While We Teach: The Experiences of Instructors in Community-Based Programs
