Launch of ApplyBC Modernization Project

The ApplyBC Modernization Project is scheduled to launch Sept 26, bringing improvements to the online application process used by students applying for post-secondary education in institutions across B.C.

The benefits of the Modernization Project include:

  • Increased security for applicant credit card information, providing compliance with PCI DSS requirements
  • Consolidating the previous two-part form into one document
  • Improved data consistency by supporting PESC applicant data schema
  • Creating an opportunity for consistent branding for our partner institutions

Ian McKinnon has been working with our full-service institutions to ensure they are able to seamlessly convert to the modernized application. The new format can be seen through the Simon Fraser University application page, found at applybc.ca/SFU
