The BCLA Academic Librarians Section, the BC Open Education Librarians group (BCOEL), BCcampus, and BCIT are very pleased to invite you to our re-scheduled event, “The Future is Open: Libraries and Open Education.”

Open Educational resources and educational practices are gaining traction at academic institutions across North America and beyond. What is open education and what roles are librarians playing in promoting and supporting open education at their campuses? These are the questions that we will explore at our morning sessions which will include faculty, BCcampus, and librarians sharing their expertise and thoughts on open education.
