Adult Basic Education OER Showcase

*Note: This session has passed. Please view the resources and recordings below.

B.C. is launching a first-of-its-kind program: a tuition- and textbook-cost–free program for adult basic education (ABE). More than 30 open educational resources (OER) have been created and adapted over the past two and a half years to support learners in this program. In this webinar, faculty will showcase their work and share how they approached the development of their OER. You’ll hear about and see the design considerations that went into building, writing, and adapting these resources from the ABE instructors who created them. They will talk about how their student-focused approach allowed them to create rich resources that benefit both students and faculty.
