Will you be teaching a course in the next year?

UBC’s Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology’s is offering the Course Design Intensive (CDI) thisJune 1st, 3rd, 5th. Work both individually and collaboratively on a course you teach or are planning to teach. This June, we will be “flipping” our CDI – that is, involving online pre-work before each day-long session to allow for more in-depth learning in class.

As a participant in the CTLT and Partners Course Design Intensive, you will work both individually and collaboratively on a course you teach or are planning to teach. You must have a course that you would like to design or re-design, regardless of the mode (face-to-face or blended). You will be asked to bring any existing course documents and materials with you to the Intensive.

To participate in the Intensive, you must register for and attend the full 3 days of participatory workshops on course design topics scheduled for June 1, 3, and 5.

Participation in the intensive is open to post-secondary educators or instructors (UBC and other institutions) – faculty, post-docs, staff, or graduate students who teach or lead a course, program or other initiative in a formal setting, in any discipline.
