Dive deeper in this two-week FLO MicroCourse on micro-credentials. A selection of current topics in micro-credentials will be offered, discussed, and applied to our B.C. context — for example, how to explain competencies to others in an easy-to-understand way. We will co-create a resource on each topic for others to use in their practice.
This course is for B.C. post-secondary professionals interested in or working in micro-credentials at their institutions. We welcome industry partners as well who would like to add their perspective to these current topics.
Plan to commit to at least six to eight hours of reading and asynchronous participation per week. There will be three synchronous sessions over the two-week period:
- November 15, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. PDT
- November 19, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. PDT
- November 26, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. PDT
While these sessions will be recorded, we highly encourage attendance if possible.
This event is free. To ensure we have an inclusive and welcoming environment for all, we’ve added registration to all our sessions.
This notice is to inform you that this session will be recorded, archived, and made available publicly on BCcampus.ca. By participating in this session, you acknowledge that your participation in this session will be recorded and the recording will be made available openly.
