*Note: This session has passed. Please view recordings and resources here.

Audience: Graduate Students

Session Description:

This webinar will be facilitated by staff members of UBC Counselling Services and UBC Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies to assist graduate students in building strong working relationships with the supervisor and committee members that support their progress through their graduate programs.

Learn to sidestep or manage potential conflicts by establishing clear expectations, using problem resolution skills, and holding confident conversations. Become more aware of one’s own thoughts about, and behaviours in, a potentially unhealthy relationship, in order to take action towards changing the dynamics leading to a healthier relationship.
