Adapting to COVID-19: Mindful Monday Drop-In

Audience: Students, Faculty and Staff

Session Description:

Join us for our regular drop-in session of Mindful/Meditation Mondays. These sessions are facilitated by guest counsellors from across the B.C. post-secondary system. Sammy will guide us through an activity and assist us in continuing to learn new skills in becoming more mindful in our daily lives.

We hope you make these sessions a regular part of your weekly schedule.


Samantha (Sammy) Beveridge, MA, CCC

Sammy is a counsellor at Langara College and provides individual counselling to students using Langara’s integrated model, which includes academic advising and personal, career and crisis counselling. In collaboration with her colleagues, she also provides groups, one of which focuses on mindfulness which has been adapted during COVID, “11 Mindful Minutes” which is offered 3 days each week this semester.  Sammy with share a guided practice with us on October 26th.
