In this free open webinar, Kevin Stranack from the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) will give a brief introduction to SFU’s free, open source Open Journal Systems and Open Monograph Press publishing applications.

Building on his recent blog post on ways to use OJS and OMP to enable open pedagogical practices in the classroom, Kevin will talk about how these practices expand students’ information literacy and knowledge of the scholarly communications process. Participants will come away with practical ideas to get your students writing, peer-reviewing, and publishing in the open.
