Pressbooks is an open source, online authoring and publishing platform used by BCcampus and post-secondary institutions in B.C. and beyond to create and adapt open textbooks.

Pressbooks, Intermediate 3: Finding, citing, and attributing elements in a textbook or resource

You will learn:

  1. The difference between citation and attribution
  2. The importance of using openly licensed/public domain resources, or original creations
  3. Where to find openly licensed/public domain resources
  4. Tables: a special case
  5. Attribution statements: best practices
  6. How to cite an open textbook
