We were thrilled to welcome Dr. Nancy Chick as the keynote speaker at the 2017 Symposium on Scholarly Teaching & Learning in Post-Secondary Education.
Dr. Nancy Chick
Nancy Chick is the University Chair in Teaching and Learning, the Academic Director of the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, and Teaching Professor of English at the University of Calgary. She is co-editor of two books on signature pedagogies (Stylus, 2008, 2012) and has authored dozens of book chapters and articles on the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) as a field, as well as her SoTL projects.
She is currently editing Doing SoTL: Thin Slices of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Action, which will be published by Stylus in 2018. With Gary Poole, she is also the founding co-editor of Teaching & Learning Inquiry, the journal of the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISSOTL).
