Teaching in a Blended Learning Environment (T-BLE)

January 28, 2015 – March 19, 2015 all-day

Are you thinking of blending one of your courses? If so, please join us in UBC’s Teaching in a Blended Learning Environment (T-BLE).

T-BLE is a short, immersive blended course aimed at instructors who are teaching in the classroom and are considering moving to a blended environment. The course will run for six weeks (January 28-March 18) and will be delivered in a blended format – a combination of online and face-to-face sessions.

What’s in it for you?

  •  An orientation to blended and flexible learning approaches and their potential impact on your practice
  • An opportunity to redesign a module from a current course for a blended learning environment with support from your colleagues and course facilitators
  • A chance to collaborate with and learn from others in different disciplines
  • An opportunity to gain an authentic experience with the blended learning environment
